Does Switching Profiles in Firefox Preserve Tabs?

Hi Everyone

My Question is if I create a new profile using the about:profiles page and switch to a new profile Will I keep the tabs in my old profile if I switch back to it? And will each profile keep it's own tabs I have many tabs open that I don't want to lose

If you use the Profile Manager to create a new profile and not use the Firefox refresh feature (which moves the current profile to the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop), then each profile has its own personal data unless you would use Sync or otherwise copy data from one profile to anther profile.

Thanks so much for your reply So just to make sure and clarify If I choose to restore "Restore previous session" button before I close, create and switch to a new profile On the old profile the open tabs and the cookies associated with the tabs will be kept right? I would like to go back to the old tabs that are currently open
