account recovery key for emails
I ak being asked for the first time for a password when I go to my emails. Tried Mozilla acct PW,, Yahoo PW etc. When trying to use my account recovery key, I am sent a verification code sent to my email address--which I cannot get in to! That is the problem. That is why I am trying the recovery key.

there would have been a prompt to enter it. you stated that your account sent it to verify your email address. So, look for the website for the account, which is probably the one wanting the access key.
