Hello.

You may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

I tried restarting it in safe mode but no luck. This has been going for more than a week. How is this for irony: I had to register to post my reply and I had to go to another browser to respond to the confirmation email. Please fix this
