To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier. Pop up message comes up when trying to use back arrow.

You can't suppress that alert.

You get an alert about resending POST data if you go back to a page that was previously requested from the server by submitting form data via a POST form. The only way that Firefox can make sure to get the same page is by resending that POST form. Firefox doesn't know what that form data means, so Firefox asks for confirmation before resending that form data as such an action can cause you to repeat an action and buy another item or post a message another time. The only way to prevent that pop-up is not to use the Back button, but to open links from a page that was requested from a server by sending a POST form in a new tab (window) with a middle-click or a Ctrl + left-click. Then you can close that tab or window to go back.

I could understand that BUT this just started recently. Maybe a new update has caused the inconvenience. Months ago I never had this occur. Oh well progress isn't always good.

It is always possible that there is a change in the code of that website that is causing such a change.

I totally hate this, Mozilla need to update thier browser so that it's not doing this anymore.

It's rediculous sending the same message twice for pressing the back button on my mouse.

I'm annoyed with this now.

This is very VERY annoying and, as a previous poster said, this is a new issue. It started with the last update. I guess I'll uninstall the last update and go back to the previous version. I don't really like Internet Explorer and I dislike Chrome even more than IE, but if this keeps up, I'll be forced to going back to using IE

Before I leave this page, I'd like to add a suggestion to the developers. PLEASE remedy this situation. It doesn't have to be this way at all since it had not been occurring before the update.

My suggestion to this solution is to have the developers update this version ASAP, patching or leaving out whatever code it is that is causing this most annoying inconvenience!
