My browsing history is not being saved.

Is your browser set to save browsing history? Tools > Options > Privacy. "Firefox will:" must be set to "Use custom settings for history" to see all of the options. See: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Options+window+-+Privacy+panel#Use_custom_settings_for_history

History will not be saved during Private Browsing. See: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Private+Browsing

History can be cleared if you use Tools > Clear Recent History or automatically Clear History when Firefox closes. See: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Clear+Recent+History
