Firefox crashes and my add ons box isnt working
Firefox crashes at my home page and also just randomly. I have tried to check my add ons but whenever I click on the add ons box it closes.

Try starting FF in Safe Mode and check "disable all add-ons" if you think they might be the problem.
I did that and it was the problem. Now I'm trying to restart the add ons one by one and the box just closes every time I click on it.
Well, if Safe Mode worked(you said it did right?) then it's a faulty add-on. You probably have to uninstall one of them. Can you give me a list?? Maybe I know what add-on is causing it.
Firefox accelerator 2.5.10.1 java console 6.0.18
Java quick starter 1.0
Microsoft.net framework assistant 1.2.1
I think the bad one is the Java quick start. It's the only one that when I left click on it uninstall is all greyed out.
Hmmm... I wouldn't think it was Java that was doing it. It won't let you uninstall it??
As soon as I click on the add ons box anywhere on the box it closes I can't uninstall or disable or enable anything.
Huh... I don't know what to do then. Sry.
See: http://www.java.com/en/download/help/quickstarter.xml - What is Java Quick Starter (JQS)? What is the benefit of running JQS? - 6.0
Disable the Java Quick Start extension: Tools > Addons > Extensions Control Panel > Java > Advanced tab > Miscellaneous >Java Quick Starter (disable)

i had the same problem, but only when opening facebook, it would crash the FF..
also "open link in new tab" was grayed out on the left click mouse menu
so i went into safe mode, and everything was fine,
- one by one i disabled/enabled the extensions, and found the culprit
firefox accelerator 2.5.10.1
once i disabled and pulled up FF again, problems resolved..
