I have the same problem as well, looked at about:config, no option to toggle display of icon in bottom right.

It's not a bug with Persona Plus (which I do not have installed) It's the Mozilla Weave/Sync icon which has dissapeared.

PLEASE fix the missing sync status icon problem !! I need it.

I need the icon back. I have no clue what weave is doing without it.

I use master password, and when firefox starts, weave does not sync automatically. Having it hidden somewhere in the menus makes me forgot that I need to click "Connect"

A good graphical user interface must return information about its current state. Give this icon back please.

v1.3 was perfect, v1.4 is a disaster... please bring back the icon... Since I upgraded to v1.4, I do not know if things have been sync'ed and it should be done automatically, not manually like in v1.4. I have gone back to v1.3... and I have to do this to all my computers... please ask the users before making any changes, if you really care about the users who use this.

In addition to bringing back the status icon - why not make a standard icon as well like all the other extensions?

I could move it, see it and force it to be visible.

waiting for statusbar icon to be back, I like to be able to control when to sync, and nesting it in the menus is not going to make it easier. Maybe just make the statusbar icon toggle-able in the preferences... :)

1.2 was great. 1.3 started having issues with I/O storms locking up FF for extended periods of time. 1.4= disaster. Useful UI gone, and does not automatically connect anymore. WTF were you thinking? Otherwise a great addon and service. Please make it great again!! Pleeeeaaaseeee.

I need to know if I am in sync by having a icon in the status bar. If I do Tools -> Sync, a user need something that tell him that the sync is done.

Pleas, show the icon in the status bar.

I just realized a while ago that not only the useful animated icon has been removed from the status bar (previously my only complain) but the data is not synced anymore unless I tell it to... not only, but it doesn't even connect by itself... what were you thinking exactly?
