My Homepage loads on starting Firefox but the Homepage button on the Navigation toolbar is inactive when I try to get back to my homepage on a the same tab (or different tab). Any ideas?

Is the Home page setting still OK?

Firefox > Preferences > General > Startup: Home page

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
