firefox opens 4 or 5 tabs everytime I launch it. I only want one tab

Since the last update done by Firefox, every time that I open my browser it loads the same 4 or 5 tabs that I used the day before. I can't seem to shut this off. It is rather annoying. I already wait longer than I would like to load a web page. Now I wait for it to load 5 pages.

I need a solution fast so I am not forced to go back to the dark side(Iternet Explorer) LOL

You can check the startup setting:
Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my home page" "Show a blank page"
