I'd like to know how firefox interacts with writing to memory as I am doing a project to expore data releveant to browsing activity contained within memory.

Maybe look at the about:memory page (via the location bar).
Thanks, that isn't entirely what I am looking for though. I need to understand the difference in how firefox writes to memory with regards to public/private browsing.
Any ideas?
