When I view emails sent from my newsletter account to myself and view in browser, there are no graphics either. Mailchimp has checked and no problems with Firefox from a development perspective. I have rechecked settings and graphics are allowed. pop ups are allowed etc. but still no luck. Other newsletters sent to me are ok. It's just mine. Any help is appreciated.

See:

  • A way to see which images are blocked is to click the favicon (How do I tell if my connection to a website is secure?) on the left end of the location bar.
  • A click on the "More Information" button will open the Security tab of the "Page Info" window (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
  • Go to the Media tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
  • Select the first image link and scroll down though the list with the Down arrow key.
  • If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

There are other things that need attention:

Your above posted system details show multiple Java Console extensions.
You can uninstall (remove) the Java Console extensions and disable the Java Quick Starter extension, you do not need them to run Java applets.

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Java#Multiple_Java_Console_extensions

Disable the Java Quick Starter extension: Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions

  • Control Panel -> Java -> Advanced tab -> Miscellaneous -> Java Quick Starter (disable)
