Why are you still using that old 3.5b4 version of Firefox?
The latest versions of Adblock Plus need 3.5 or higher - 3.5b4 may not be compatible.
the ad-blocking extension "Adblock Plus" is now available for Google Chrome and can be downloaded from "https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb maybe will help you , you will find info on that site
