Mozilla Firefox is not saving any of my usernames or passwords

more options

Mozilla Firefox is not saving any of my usernames or passwords on any of the sites I visit and I'm wondering why. I clicked on Tools then I clicked on Options then clicked on the Security tab then under Passwords I checkmarked "Remember passwords for sites" then I clicked OK. When I visit sites that I regularly go on none of my usernames or passwords are saved. I have to type them in. Why is this?? How can I fix this??

Here are the sites that I regularly visit that won't save my usernames or passwords:

www.singlesnet.com www.plentyoffish.com www.evow.com www.datehookup.com www.christiandatingforfree.com www.facebook.com www.twitter.com

Somebody please help!!!!!!!!

Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox?
If the latter happens then you have a problem with cookies that are not kept or the file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.

If you go on some of the sites I mentioned it'll ask you for your username and password. I just want to be able to click in the box and have my username and password pop up without me having to type it in all the time.
