When I go to certain web sites it automaticallly puts in my password even though I didn't ask the site to save it how can I get it to stop?

Example is facebook as soon as I get to the log in page it fills in my password even though I have never asked it to remember my password. I am afraid to do other sites on my mac because others use it and i don't want them accessing my bank accounts. How do i make sure that it won't?

Some sites use cookies to remember login details. Delete the cookies for the site, and when you next log in check for a setting similar to "Remember me" or "Always keep me logged in" and make sure that it is not selected.
