Why won't FF4 work on my Mac 0s X 10.4.11 version?

I can download the new FF4 but when I try to open it, I get the message that my Mac OS X 10.4.11 will not support the program.

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
