My e-mail address book has been hacked. I want to type in my sign-in password each time instead of hitting "sign in" or having my email automatically remembered by Mozilla.

Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.

You can clear cookies from that website to make the site forget you.
Make sure that if you log in the next time that the remember me box doesn't have a check mark.

A way to see which cookies a website (domain) has stored is to click the favicon (How do I tell if my connection to a website is secure?) on the left end of the location bar.

  • Click the "More Information" button to open the Security tab in "Tools > Page Info".
  • Click the "View Cookies" button on the Security tab in "Tools > Page Info" to open the Cookies Manager and see which cookies that domain has stored.

You can clear the search bar in the Cookies Manager to see all the cookies.
