Can't install Startpage search engine plug in.

When I attempt to install Startpage search engine I get this message: "Sorry, you need a Mozilla-based browser (such as Firefox) to install a search plugin" I DO already have Firefox 4 installed and am using it to install Startpage plugin. How can this problem be resolved???

Ok, I was able to successfully install Startpage search engine by going directly to the Startpage website. The problem exists only when attempting installation directly through Firefox add-ons.
