Why does my bookmarks automatically show up in my browser bar as soon as I start typing "www"? So every site I visit and bookmark can be seen by someone who might just happen to be at my PC while I/we search?

If I have "www.gambleitall.com" stored as a bookmark and I go to my browser bar start typing www...all my bookmarks (including www.gambleitall.com) will show up. But these are not history. Bottom line...a bookmark should not show up in the browser bar just because the website you are entering contains matching letters as your bookmarks. Lack of privacy.

被選擇的解決方法

If you have visited a bookmarked site then it will become history.

You can change what you want to see in the location bar drop down list:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Location Bar: When using the location bar, suggest: History, Bookmarks, History and Bookmarks, Nothing
