I have a Linksys WRT54G wireless router. Yesterday all wireless functionality dropped out. I tried going to the router's IP address and got this message: Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to 192.168.1.1. You have received an invalid certificate. Please contact the server administrator or email correspondent and give them the following information: Your certificate contains the same serial number as another certificate issued by the certificate authority. Please get a new certificate containing a unique serial number. (Error code: sec_error_reused_issuer_and_serial) I searched for this message in Firefox help and tried the steps listed on: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Certificate%20contains%20the%20same%20serial%20number%20as%20another%20certificate But it did not work. I could not access the IP address. I needed to do so, to reset and re-secure the wireless router. I was able to do this in IE because there is an option to ignore the warning. I would like to be able to access the router in Firefox.
