I get "corrupted image" message and "verification failed" on firefox dmg. What?!

I downloaded Firefox 3.6.17 on my G5 and when it finishes I get the message "verification failed". Then, when I try to open it with disc image mounter the message reads "corrupted image"

Firefox 4 doesn't run on a PowerPC Mac.

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
