firefox updated on my pc under www.mirrorservice.org what is this?

my computer said it needed to update firefox, and as it was updating it I read firefox set up from www.mirrorservice.org - is this a legitimate update from firefox because I had trouble un-installing firefox after this and had to manually uninstall everything and then re-install.

Yes, that is one of the many world-wide community mirrors that is used by Mozilla.

Thank you so much edmeister. I'm not sure what exactly a mirror is and it was from the UK so I was a bit concerned.
