I've updated a webpage, loaded it on the server but can't see the changes. The webhosting tech support can see changes. I've clearded all cache and browsing history but no luck. in English
I have a website which is hosted at host gator. I've made changes to that website, uploaded the changes, can see that they are on the host site, but I can't the changes when I go to my browser.
I've cleared all the cache and browsing history. There must be a hidden file that doesn't clear. I can see the information on another computer but not on mine. I've updated a calender page adding October through December but I'm still seeing the old page that ends with Sept. Again, clearing cache, history and flushing cache using the terminal didn't help.
All I can think of is that there is some library file or preference file that needs to be deleted but I don't know which one.

Just humor me with these:
- Open the page and press Ctrl and the F5 key at the same time.
- Check the url and make sure you aren't going to a local URL or older page link.
After that, what is the page made in? is it a basic HTML page? php/asp/perl/etc? some sort of content management system?

Ctrl F5 doesn't do anything. (I'm on a Mac if that makes a difference.) The link is to the online page and it does prompt me for the id and password for that page.
The page is designed in htm.
This is driving me a little nuts. I suspect there is a library file somewhere that itsn't being cleared out, but I can't figure out where.
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
- Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
- Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
- Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
Reloading the webpage didn't work, nor did clearing all cache and history, etc. I even went so far a uninstalling the browser and telling Hazel to remove all related files.
Do you have a router with a build-in cache?
If you have then try to power down that router and wait half a minute and power up again.
Thanks for the suggestion, but no luck. I checked the router and it doesn't have built-in cache, but just to make sure I powered down and then a few minutes later powered up. I've also run every utility I can find to clear cache on the Mac. Still no luck.
