iMac OS X pdf downloads cause a looping cascade of Firefox new opening windows, only stopped by exiting Firefox, what to do to fix? Thanks
I'm new to Mac. Mac OS X ver 10.6.7. Prefer Firefox to Safari. I've been using Firefox on all my PC's and install is for all customers, I work with seniors. I've upgraded the Mac to Firefox 5.0

go to Help Menu -> select "Restart with Add-ons Disabled"
Firefox will close then it will open up with just basic Firefox. You can enable the Add-ons later. If this solution does not work then try the following linearly:
