App tab does not re-appear when opening Firefox; using Firefox 5.0.1 on a Mac
Good day!
In trying to use the app tab feature, I notice that the app tab does not re-appear after closing and then re-opening Firefox. I am using Firefox 5.0.1 on a Mac (latest operating system). I am able to easily create the app tab, but it does not save - the next time I open Firefox, the app tab is no longer there. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
In my preferences, I have the following, among others: Enabled - "tell web site I do not want to be tracked." Enabled - "clear history when Firefox closes." Cookies are only kept until Firefox closes. Enabled - "block pop-up windows" Enabled - "enable JavaScript"
If other information is needed, please advise.

App (pinned) tabs and Tab Groups (Panorama) are stored as part of the session data in the file sessionstore.js in the Firefox profile folder.

Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Browsing History" when Firefox is closed because that prevails and prevents Firefox from opening tabs from the previous session.

I´ve followed the instructions carefully and whenever I turn off my computer and turn it on again, the pin tab apps are gone. I am using Firefox 6 and a Mac Book Pro?
Do you know what might be causing to lose my tabs every time I turn off my computer. I really appreciate the pin tabs applications, but it seems I will not be able to use it.
