When i press use custom settings for history and then klick ok then close the options, then i go back there and there is still "Never remember history"

So when i go to options i go privacy then i click "Use custom settings for history" then i click "OK" and options shuts down, then i go back to privacy and there is still the old "Never remember history"

Choosing the "Use custom settings for history" setting doesn't make any changes to history and cookie settings.
If Firefox shows the "Use custom settings for history" setting then that is an indication that at least one of the history and cookie settings are not the default to make you aware that changes were made.
If all History settings are default then you see "Firefox will: (Never) Remember History" and the custom settings are hidden.
