When I Google a subject, "cached" is shown behind most of the website addresses. I must click on the word "cached" to pick that website. If the selection does not have "cached" behind it, I am unable to visit that website.

  • Tap ALT key or press F10 to show the Menu bar
  • go to Tools Menu -> unselect Work Offline

Troubleshooting extensions and themes

Clear Cookies & Cache

Clear the Network Cache

Check and tell if its working.

It should be sufficient to only clear the Google cookies, no need to clear all cookies as that will remove settings from other sites that you may want to keep.

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems (Google in this case):

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
