i keep getting multiple tabs of same web page.somestimes in the hundreds
when i logon to a web site I get multiple tabs of the same site opening up. sometimes it goes into the hundreds and my only option is to restart my computer

That can happen if you have selected Firefox as the application to handle a download in the open with pop-up.
