On my Droid Incredible 2, Firefox Mobile (latest since yesterday) takes the longest time to startup. My only extension that I've installed is LastPass, and that shouldn't take long at all.

It seems like several other people are experiencing issues with Firefox is taking awhile to load up on their android devices; is this a recognized issue?

Firefox currently takes around 3 to 5 seconds to start up on most devices. We know that this is too slow, and are working on improving it.

If it's taking a lot longer than that on your phone (more than about 10 seconds), please let us know and we'll try to figure out if something else is wrong.

Sorry about that, I completely spaced on giving a more specific loading time. On my phone, it seems to take a combination of one minute, and me pressing the back button.

If your phone has the option to install non market apps would you install the Nightly build @ http://nightly.mozilla.org/. Open the preferences in Nightly, choose the Beta tab, enable the error console, click the new bug tab, on that tab there should be three numbers related to startup. Please post them here.

Darn, looks like my post was lost. I was in the middle of typing when I noticed that lastpass was constantly popping up reminding me to purchase it in 8 days, whenever I tried to open the keyboard for this editor. I finally uninstalled it, and the slow startup issue disappeared. I guess I'll be filing this issue at their place.
