I cannot open a new tab any way..by clicking the new tab button on tab-bar, or ctrl/T, or File/New Tab, or clicking on link on current page.

On Windows7 Premium Home Edition, I cannot get a new tab to open no matter what I try. On occasion, if I click on a link on the current page, a second tab will open, but 99% of the time I am stuck using the first tab for everything and using the back button. I have tried ctrl/T, File/New Tab, right mouse click/New Tab, and the new tab button on the tab bar to the right of the current tab.

I didn't have ASK toolbar, but I did have a few unneeded other ones. I disabled all but Google toolbar, and IT WORKS! YEAH!

Glad the problem is resolved. Some toolbars must be uninstalled in Windows Control Panel to fully remove them from your system. See the instructions for doing that in the second article that I posted above.

The User Agent string submitted with your original question, shows that you did have the Ask Toolbar (see below). You can see your submitted UA by clicking "More system details" to the right of your original question.
