Secure connection failed due to certificate expiring.

I've tried downloading the newest version, but still nothing. My other browsers work just fine. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Most likely you have an addon that refers to the URL in the error message. Their domain's security certificate has expired, which means that their server can no longer be consider "secure". If you are able to get to the Options screen, you can try disabling all addons. If you can't, you can try starting Firefox in Safe Mode. Instructions are here: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe%20Mode

Once you can start Firefox normally, you can re-enable addons one at a time until you find the one causing the problem.

I don't seem to have any add-ons installed, at least I don't see anything when I look at that part under Tools--Add Ons. I use Mac OS X 10.7.1

Please also check the "Extensions" list. Do you still get the error message if you use Safe Mode?

If I'm right, the problem was caused by my disabling an ad-on. After enabling it again, things are fine. Odd. Anyway, thanks for the replies.
