firefox quits responding when I try and watch certin videos on youtube or ebaumsworld. the audio continues playing and I am unable to do anything but ctrl alt dele for the task manager

It should work with the latest flash player. Just to be sure you can check your flash player here: plug in check

If it's not flash, try getting rid of everything that Firefox has stored for that website. Instructions are here: [Clear website history]
