After I updated, now buttons on sites are inactive (I click on them and nothing happens). I've tried many things. What's going on?

I tried re-installing Firefox - no change. From Internet Explorer all buttons are active - this only happens in Firefox. 'Some' buttons on 'some' sites are active. But most buttons are inactive - the cursor placed above the button does nothing.

Both the Yahoo! Toolbar extension and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause this issue. Disable or uninstall those add-ons.
