Originally installed FF 3.0 and 3.6 in their own separate folder, ie" C:\FireFox 3.0 & C:\FireFox 3.6. Both versions worked perfect.

Installed/Upgraded to 8.0 (also in its own separate folder, ie: C:\FireFox 8.0).

Opened FF 8.0 and checked operation. Saw that all bookmarks were installed from 3.0/3.6, so seeing I didn't need v-3.0 I deleted it through "Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs.. but still kept v-3.6.

Reopened v-8.0 and went to bookmarks but.. NONE THERE!! Decided to open v-3.6 and check bookmarks but.. NONE THERE!!

Went to folder C:\FireFox 3.0 and found two (2) folders, ie: Components & Plugins.. along with the program "FireFox Setup 3.0.exe.

So the question is.. "where do I find my 150 plus bookmarks!!, that are now missing?"

If you ticked the box to remove personal data when uninstalling a Firefox version then all profile folders will be removed. That includes profiles created in other Firefox versions. So you should never use that choice if you still have other Firefox versions installed or want to access a profile folder with a new installation.
