Running win-7, I get MSN's inane homepage when I open Firefox and don't know how to change it to (for instance) Google.

I've just switched computers and downloaded Firefox onto my new machine. It runs Win-7, so I get MSN's inane home page with celebrity news and ads every time I open Firefox. How do I change it to, let's say, plain vanilla Google?
