I cannot import a bookmarks.html file. I follow the instructions but nothing happens.
I go to bookmarks, show all, import from html and browse to the file I want to import and click "open". Absolutely nothing happens.

Hi, Yes the file has an html extension. I tried both "html" and "htm" . I have eventually fixed this problem by uninstalling Firefox and then reinstalling it. After that I was able to get it to import the bookmarks file.

Hi TopQuark,
I would assume that maybe the file is corrupt. What browser did you export from? You should look at Import data from another browser for detailed instructions for each browser. This should help you get a clean export.

Thanks for the reply. No, the file is not corrupt. I can open it in firefox. It was exported from firefox on a different computer.
Does that file have a .html file extension?
