Why does my Windows Live Hotmail take forever to load?

Over the past month or so, my Firefox browser hasn't been playing very nicely with Windows Live Hotmail. For one, it takes forever to load the page, and I stare at a white screen for a good 3 minutes before it finally loads. HughesNet is my Internet Service Provider, and it shouldn't take that much time for my Hotmail to load. I could see it if it were a DialUp connection being this slow! The other thing I want to mention is that for some reason, my SilverLight plugin keeps crashing! All of my 3rd party plugins are fully up to date, including my SilverLight. It won't allow me to upload pictures to attach to e-mails! Instead, I get a sad face, telling me that my SilverLight has crashed! What is the problem that is causing this? So you know, I have the latest version 9.0.1, and it is fully up to date. Thank you. Michael Gronemeyer

Hi,

Please try a Ctrl + F5 refresh. This helps to bring in content afresh.

Please also check if the page loads okay in Safe Mode. Additionally, you can also try to Enable Silverlight via Tools (Alt + T) > Add-ons, click Plugins on the left and check if Silverlight still crashes.
