How can I make the scroll bar recognize my mouse?

While in maximized view, the scroll bar on the right does not respond to the mouse being over it. It only senses I am trying to scroll when the mouse is right on the border between the normal webpage and the scroll bar. In minimized and full screen views, the scroll bar works fine.

I am wondering how to fix this issue. as it is annoying to have such a small area that I have to click for the scroll bar to activate. the computer is an HP Envy.

Try to disable hardware acceleration.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
