I work from home and use an online "ticketing" system. I've been using the same program for over a year, and Firefox to access it, but suddenly this week I started getting an error. Whenever I close a work ticket, I'm redirected back to the "home" page of the program. Firefox is now saying "Firefox has prevented this page from redirecting you to another page" and I have to click "Allow" in order to get back to the main screen. I've never had to do this before, it's become rather frustrating.

被選擇的解決方法

See:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > General : Accessibility: uncheck "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

I found the 'warn me...' switch in a slightly different place:

Preferences not Tools ie in

preferences/advanced/general

Unchecking solved the problem.
