I tried to install the the new Firefox 11 beta, when it was finished it said that I needed to reboot, so I rebooted and it asked me to reboot again, and again and again! then I deleted Firefox thinking I'll start with a blank slate well it still asks for me to reboot any help?

You can try to reboot after deleting the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
The beta version may install in a different program folder, so you may need to check that out.

Try to run the Firefox program once as Administrator (right-click firefox.exe: Run as Administrator).

If that doesn't solve the problem then remove the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) to do a clean reinstall.

Can you boot normally if you do not reinstall Firefox?

Did you check if there is a VirtualStore folder with Mozilla Firefox files?

  • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
