no images loaded for certain websites - Firefox for Mac
On the BBC, New York Times, Guardian websites/home pages images load as usual (and ads are blocked). On the CNN and Washington Post sites no images load whatsoever.
This is true both in Firefox 3.627 (AdLock Plus, Download Helper, 1Pasword extensions installed) on my G4 Mac running OSX 10.5.8 and in Firefox 10.0.2 (AdLock Plus, Adlock Plus Pop-up Addon, Color Management, Sheep Systems Firefox Extension) on a MacBook Pro running OSX 10.6.8.
I also have Adlock in Safari on both computers but it doesn't block normal images from those same web pages, only ads.
I am new to Firefox and perhaps have messed up some Preference setting. I looked them over and nothing obvious pops out. Does anyone have an idea of what may be the problem?
thanks,
ncm

Try clear Cookies & Cache and check it again
thank you

Thanks, but that didn't work. I cleared everything including cookies and cache and quit Firefox then relaunched it and went to cnn.com. No change - images still don't load.

Images or animations do not load
thanks again
Yay, that worked. It was about:config where on both computers Permissions.default.image was set to 3 instead of 1. I have no idea how it got that way but resetting it solved the problem and images now load normally on the hitherto problem sites.
