Now Im typing this on an other computer. So the computer details of this one are NOT RELEVANT. Please ignore details. The TOTAL freezes started to happen after I updated FF to version 10.0.2 while playing a MMORPG game (World of Warcraft) and simultaniously had opened FF to look up information on certain WOWtopics. Within 4 days the freezes happen so often that I cant play WOW anymore. It'll freeze within 2 minutes time (the game is started and running). I play almost every day and before the update of FF it was running fine all the time. I thought at first it was something with the game. On another computer (Im typing on it right now) it runs perfectly fine. Than we've updated FF AND all relevant Plug-inns, windows and the graphic drivers. Still got more and verry often freezes in the game. Funny things is all the other stuff on my computer works fine. So now I got hopeless and wanna do a complete new installation of Windows. But before doing this (and not having acces to my laptop) I went on internet on my laptop with FF to look at website with virtual makeover and while I was doing the settings for the makeover on my own Photo I got a TOTAL freeze! Same as playing WOW. So Im sure its NOT the game! Its FF and has to do with the new version. Before everything was all up and running. I play for years this game never a TOTAL freeze had occurred before. The only thing I remember of the version of FF I had before (cant remember exactly the version name in detail, because I cant find it -overwritten by V10.0.2- but I think it was a version9) that occurred sometimes was FF crashing (after working fine for hours) when I had opened (to many) Tabs and a second new window. Stupid thing is my computer works fine only internet connected stuff causes TOTAL freezes: nothing works. <CTRL>+<ALT>+<DEL> doesnt react. <ESC> neighter. I can only get my computer to react by "killing" it completely with power shut off ("pull the plug") and starting up from scratch. My partners computer is working fine. He also has updated to V10.0.2 And can play the game or do anything else. It happens on my laptop with Windows vista. Now Im typing this on an other computer. So, now Im pretty sure its FF V10.0.2 cause we've ruled out pretty much everything else and before I go through the whole installation process... This is my LAST hope. ANYBODY??? PLEASE HELP ME???
