cannot highlight more than once screenful of text (for copy/paste)
I used to be able to put my mouse pointer somewhere on a web page, then left click and drag down past the bottom of the page to highlight a large amount of text to COPY off the page (for a future PASTE operation). I just noticed today that the highlighting now stops at the bottom of the window and the window does not start scrolling down the page to go further, highlighting as it goes -- which it used to do. Is this an intentional change to Firefox, or a bug?

Well, I do love those gremlins who go around in the middle of the night and fix things that are broken. :-)
Really -- I tested this on a BUNCH of pages before I posted, and now they're all working just fine. I haven't even closed and re-opened Firefox, nor rebooted my computer! So, all you people from the future who are reading this -- false alarm (I guess)!
Thanks Matt_G and cor-el for trying to help me.

Hi ell_ell_tee,
I just checked it works fine for me. I used this page actually. Have you checked to see if it is just the particular website that you were looking at? It could be an isolated incident.
You could also try starting Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit. You should look at the Extensions and Themes troubleshooting guide and the Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems article as well.
Hopefully this helps!
Try to enable the Add-ons bar (Firefox > Options or View > Toolbars; Ctrl+/) or the Find bar (Ctrl+F) to make Firefox scroll down the page while selecting text.
