Hi! The desktop version of Firefox that I'm running was recently updated and now I no longer have the option to restore my tabs from the previous session whenever ffox starts up. In other words, I tried the following commands: "Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

But, this option is disabled/greyed (I can't click on it for some reason). Any thoughts?

hello, are you using any extension that might offer or override this functionality? (you can find your current extensions in firefox > addons > extensions). you could also try launching firefox in safemode once and see if the preferences are accessible then...

Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems

edit: also make sure that firefox is set to remeber the histroy of visited sites & doesn't delete that on shutdown in the options > privacy panel.

hi! thanks for the rapid response. yes, i'm using two extensions: zotero 3.0.7 & zotero word for windows integration 3.1.7, though neither has introduced issues with session restore before..

on a hunch, i went to Options > Privacy and noticed the ffox was set to never remember history. Changing the option to 'Remember history' re-enabled the 'restore tabs from last time' option. :)

thanks for the safe mode tip! it might be helpful if this something goes awry again
