Hi there,

I have the new firefox installed but something seems wrong with it. If I click on firefox to open it from my desktop firefox opens sure enough and I can enter whatever topic I want to brows, however when I want to browsw something else there is no way of refreshing or going back to the blank page with empty browser rectangle box and I have to escape the firefox then re open it from the desktop again, how is this possible? have I pehaps downloaded a fake firefox? Very confusing,, there is no refresh or escape click on to take me back from the searched page back to the browser, why is this?

Regards

Antonio

Hi,

Please check if this happens in a new profile. If the new profile is okay, you can Reset Firefox on the old (previous) profile via Help (Alt + H) > Troubleshooting Information. Please note that another way to open the new page is by clicking on the + after the last tab.

Maybe it is the new feature that has been added with thumbnail pictures that you are seeing.

Experiment with keying into the location bar where you type web addresses about:home and about:blank hit the return key or click the green arrow after you enter one of those.
