Trying to edit my yahoo profile using Firefox and certain elements do not show up such as update "Load Photo" on the avatar page.
If I use Explorer it allows me to see all the links and can edit my profile but not in Firefox. . I am not sure the URL will let you in as is a private link.

Try the Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there.
A troubleshooting mode, which disables most Add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default Theme.)
- You can open the Firefox 4.0+ SafeMode by holding the Shft key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- Or use the Help menu item, click on Restart with Add-ons Disabled... while Firefox is running.
Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shft key) to open it again.
If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.

When you figure out what is causing that, please let us know. It might help other user's who have that problem.
Have tried using safe mode but still the links do not show and as I said before they only show up in Explorer. Will keep trying to sort it as is annoying.
Have just noticed that when I run the cursor over the none working avatar were the link should be I get this showing up at the bottom left of the page "profile.yahoo.com/**********/# " but when I use Internet Explorer I get this "http://profile.yahoo.com/**********/#" could this make any difference.....?
Have viewed the source of the pages and there appears to be nothing that seems to stand but not know how Firefox is reacting to the page source differently to Explorer and not being a HTML programmer I cannot see were it is going wrong. Have found the code that triggers the event in Explorer but not in Firefox and will email the source with it Highlighted if anybody is interested.
I see that you use the Firefox 14 beta release.
Does this also happen with the official Firefox 13.0.1 release?
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
