The mobile version is extremely oversized on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. How can I use the tablet version?

On the website "Getting started with the Firefox for Android tablet browser", the following can be read: "Note: Tablets with screens smaller than 10" do not use the tablet browser by default. For those tablets including Kindle Fire, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7" or HTC Flyer, see Getting started with Firefox for mobile."

I'm assuming there is a way of changing this because it says "by default". I couldn't find anything on the topic, but can't believe the developers chose to make Firefox look like this on 7-inch tablets... Can you help me change the UI on my tablet?

Hey You canțt change the UI, but you can ask to display the content for the sites through "Request desktop site".

You can enter an enhancement in bugzilla if you want- I can't help you with this.

Thank you very much for your reply. The content is displayed nicely, just the UI is going on my nerves, as it's way too chunky for such a "large" screen.

Although I have no idea how to do what you recommend, I sure hope Mozilla will change the UI for 7- to 10-inch screens, because I'm tempted to use Chrome with the desktop-like tabbed browsing.
