I deleted my Sync account, but when I open Firefox the Sync tab still opens. How do I get rid of this?
Whenever I launch Firefox the tab with the name "Your First Sync" still opens even though I've already deleted my Sync account. I do not want this tab to open anymore, it's actually very annoying. What can I do?

You can check for problems with preferences and try to rename or delete the prefs.js file and possible numbered prefs-##.js files and a possible user.js file to reset all prefs to the default values.
