Is there really no way to set a home page? Can people at mozilla really be so retrded that they force you to go to a "top sites" page every time you open a tab, accomplishing nothing but making the user do an extra tap and wait a little longer?? How do people making such moronic decisions have jobs?

Firefox starts up with a light weight native Java UI. At the beginning of startup we don't have a way to render html pages. Using a page requested over the network would greatly increase the time it takes to starup and show the first page.

Nah, not a good or valid reason. Pretty terrible reason, actually. There isn't any reason that's good or valid for not at least letting the user decide whether they want it the way it is or if they want it to have the simple capability that other browsers have. Options?! *Gasp* Oh no, we can't have that!
