Hi

Since updating to the new Firefox 18.0.1 every time I try to close a few open windows Firefox crashes. I would be reading my mail and after having about 10 open windows I go and check on the X to close the windows. I can close about five to seven of them with no problem but when I have about three of them left Firefox crashes. It is very annoying. I used the Firefox Safe Mode feature and this problem does not happen while in Safe Mode. I don't know what the next step is to fix this problem. Could you please help. Thank you

If there is no issue in safe mode, it means one of your "add-ons" are causing the issue and no "plugins". You will need to disable your "add-ons" one by one to find the culprit. If you have Norton Toolbar 2012/2013 then that may be the one causing the issue otherwise it is add-on causing the issue.

Yes, please provide us with the crash id's so we can verify it is still Norton crashing. Also, if you are in contact with Tyler, please let us know. Thanks!

Hi feer56 and cor-el,

The reports in about:crashes stopped on January 27. The ones I posted on my previous reply at the beginning of the tread is all I have, even though Firefox have crashed 20-25 times since then. I never get a pop up window to report the crashes and apparently it not doing it automatically either. It has to be Norton since the crashes just DON'T HAPPEN when the tool bar is disabled.

I am in contact with Tyler and I have given him all the information I can. I was telling him that is so frustrating that is just not worth the aggravation of having this Norton Tool Bar enabled.
