want to get FF19 Mac to download audio files into cache even though not in playback - like earlier versions did
On previous versions of FF, when on a site such as Soundcloud, hitting the "play" button not only plays the file, but also downloads the whole file rapidly into cache. This continues even when playback is paused. In FF19 (Mac) it appears that the file is downloaded into cache only if the audio is allowed to play to the end of the piece.
Is there a setting that allows full file download into cache right away, as previously?
